Why Sarah’s Pet Sitting Requires an Online Profile

Safety : For the safety of our Professional Pet Sitters we need your name, address, veterinary info and pet behavior information PRIOR to you meeting your pet sitter.  Please understand we sometimes send our sitters to meet new clients alone or in the evening so we need to establish a relationship with each prospective client before we can safely send our sitters to meet you.  We also need to know if your pets have any aggression or fear issues BEFORE we arrive to meet with you.  The SAFTEY of our pets and pet sitters is our #1 priority.

Availability We need your home address and as much detailed information about the dates and services you may need.  This is so we can be sure that we can service your area for the dates/services needed and have you matched with the best pet sitter available for your needs.

Pet Information We need your detailed pet and home information PRIOR to meeting with you so your sitter can print, review and be prepared with any questions they may have for you.  Our NEW CLIENT MEETINGS are limited to 30 minutes so it is important for us to have your information ahead of time so that we can review it in an efficient manner.

Policies :  Prior to completing your profile you will be asked to agree to our Policies & Procedures.  We want our clients to have the opportunity to review our polices prior to their NEW CLIENT MEETING so that we may review any questions you have.

Home EntryWe ask that all clients prepare two labeled keys and a back up method of entry.  During you New Client Meeting your professional pet sitter will test your keys, review your alarm system and go over your preferred entry method.  Click here to review our Key Policy.

Online System Sarah’s Pet Sitting uses an entirely online system for our pet and home profiles, scheduling, invoicing and payment.  We would like each client to try our system to ensure they are comfortable using it.  A working email address is required to book services with Sarah’s Pet Sitting.

Pet Care Accuracy : Your profile is what your sitter will refer to and follow each time they care for your pets.  They access the information on their smart phones securely while completing your services.  We want all of our pet care information to come directly from you so that we know it is up to date and accurate.  We need to be able to view and find pet information quickly so that we can focus 100% of our time on your pets.  Searching through long and difficult to read hand written instructions takes away from the time we can be spending with your pets.

Contact Information Your current contact information and emergency contact information should be kept up to date in your profile at all times.  We may need to reach out to your or your emergency contact at any time while we are at your home.

Back Up : Having your online pet profile allows any Sarah’s Pet Sitting pet sitter or manager to quickly review your pet and home information so that they can be available to care for your pets accurately in the event that a pet sitter has an emergency or you require service on short notice.

Peace of Mind : Having a complete and up to date profile gives our clients Peach of Mind knowing that Sarah’s Pet Sitting and management have all the information needed to care for your pets at their finger tips day or night.
