The Windows Project and Sarah’s Pet Sitting

I have to say when the team over at the Ball and Socket Arts Project reached out to us to photograph this event we were pretty shocked! If you follow Sarah’s Pet Sitting on Facebook or Instagram you’ll know that taking photos of our client pets is something we really enjoy. You can also view more of our pet photography at SPSPetPhotography.

Never did we think anyone would ask us to photograph anything but there pets, haha!  Needless to say we were REALLY nervous going into this event, we’d never want to let anyone down.  We love our community here in Cheshire so we put a lot of time in and gave it our very best effort.  Photographing this event was definitely outside of our comfort zone. I hope everyone enjoys our photos of the event especially the wonderful volunteers over at the Ball and Socket.

If you are not familiar with the Ball and Socket Arts project you can learn more at www.ballandsocket.org.  The Ball and Socket, located on West Main St in Cheshire, CT was working factory for almost 150 years from 1850 until 1992.  It consists of 3.02 acres and 5 historic and unique industrial building housing over 63,000 square feet of interior space.  The Ball and Socket Arts Project will be transforming the neglected factory grounds into an arts and entertainment complex, offering gallery, performance, education, retail and dining spaces.  The Windows Project was the first step in this transformation.
