There are two phone apps that are very helpful for pet owners.  They both have features that can help you reunite an owner with a found pet, or help you find a pet you have lost.  One, Finding Rover, is dedicated solely to this, the other, ASPCA Mobile also helps you in all sorts of emergency situations.

These are both free on IOS and Android.

Finding Rover is a brilliant app that uses facial recognition to reunite lost dogs with their owners.  It also helps owners to network on social media and reach out to local sources if their pet is lost.

ASPCA Mobile helps pet owners with details on what to do in case of a natural disaster or other emergency.  It provides a way for pet owners to store their pets medical records, and it provides resources that will help in the case that your pet is lost.

Both of these apps are useful tools for any pet owner that wants to be prepared.
